About Me

Bianca Alexis is a native New Yorker who currently resides in downtown Manhattan.

After receiving a B.F.A. in Photography from New York City's Pratt Institute, Bianca worked full-time for fashion and beauty photographer Jesse Shadoan, editorial photographer David Harry Stewart, and wedding photographer Sarah Merians. She is currently employed at Scholastic Corporation as a full time retoucher and photographer.

Bianca's professional experience spans a variety of specialties: Fashion, Beauty, Editorial, Wedding, Maternity, and Product Photography.
She also oversees the entire production of the shoot itself, from the initial concept stage, to model and location scouting, staging and styling a shoot, shooting, retouching and delivery of final artwork. Over the years she has experimented extensively with lighting and composition and has worked hard to develop her own distinctive style.

She works productively on a freelance basis as an in-house photographer for fashion label Eva Khurshid, shoe designer Olivia Rose Tal and blogging/graphic design personality Nubby Twiglet.
