Melissa Cheyenne Montgomery (Mel) was born in Paris, France and immigrated with an adopted parent to the United States at a young age. While she has a strong artistic bent and has always been interested in the world of fashion, art and design, she spent several years working as a paralegal with a number of high profile attorneys in Southern California. She then worked with her late husband, a successful stock analyst, until his tragic and untimely death in 2009. As a result of this unfortunate change in circumstances, Mel decided that it was time to pursue a career in commercial and high fashion modeling, something she had been repeatedly encouraged to try and had always wanted to do.

While relatively new to the modeling profession, Mel has had the good fortune to work with several of the top photographers in the United States and France and the results are impressive. Modeling appears to be her natural calling. Mel is currently seeking modeling assignments and representation with respect to modeling in the United States and Europe.

In addition to her modeling work, Mel has a strong interest in writing and music. She is currently in the process of writing a novel based on some of her own life experiences and is re-learning to play the piano. Her other interests include dance, visiting museums and working out. Mel’s favorite sport is auto racing, for which she has actually had some training.

Mel lives by the following three maxims: “Never, never, never give up;” “Anybody can be a nobody, but everyone can be a somebody; and “What’s in the heart is what matters the most.”
