My Name is Ilka and I'm 31 years old. I finished my apprenticeship (2years) as a hairdresser in germany in June 2007. Afterwards I made my master craftman's diploma as a hairdresser which is a continuing education and gives me a higher level of qualification. When I finished it I started another apprenticeship as a make-up artist / Wig and Make up Technician at the theater of Aachen for three years.
There I learned:
- how to knot wigs, beards, toupees etc.
- how to produce hairpiece
- how to produce prothetics made of varied materials and to apply them
- how to make historical, or modern and creative updos with normal hair and with wigs
- how to style hair with the marcel iron (traditionel haircurling and styling)
- how to make someone up for stage, film or photo shootings
- producing and applying special effects like wounds, bald caps, bloodeffects etc.
- charactermasks like aging
- creative and extraordinary make-ups

After this I worked at the theater for another year (fulltime). Since 2012 I am the Sales Representative and Wig and Make-up Artist of the german company Kerling International.
I work as a lecturer for workshops or do Make-up presentations in front of the audience for trade fairs, I travel around Europe to visit customers and solve there problems with productions they have to look after or I test new products and so on.

I am experienced in stage-make-ups and beauty shootings, bride make up and updos and I had a few jobs on filmsets.
I want to use this comunity to get connections around the world, to get inspiration and hopefully jobs. I am a very reliable person, always kind and in a good mood, I am creative and professional.

Hallo mein Name ist Ilka,
ich bin 31 Jahre alt, gelernte Friseurmeisterin und habe eine klassische dreijährige Ausbildung zur Maskenbildnerin am Stadttheater Aachen abgelegt. Danach habe ich dort noch ein weiteres Jahr gearbeitet (Vollzeit) und bin nun bei der Firma Kerling International Haarfabrik GmbH als Maskenbildnerin im Außendienst angestellt.
Ich beherrsche das Knüpfen und frisieren von Perücken sowie die Herstellung von Haarteilen, Bärten und ähnlichem. Desweiteren kann ich Spezialeffekte wie Wunden, Gesichtsteile und Glatzen herstellen und auch anbringen. Ich beherrsche die historischen und gänigen heutigen Frisiermethoden und kann mit Haarteilen, Eigenhaar und Perücken bestens umgehen. Ich habe viel Erfahrung mit Bühnenmake-ups, Beauty- und Brautmake-ups und Stylings. Dazu verfüge ich über ein hohes Wissensspektrum über Schminkstile und Frisurenkunde vom alten Ägypten bis zur Neuzeit. Ich möchte diese Plattform nutzen um Kontakte zu knüpfen und den ein oder anderen Job oder auch ein interessantes Shooting an Land zu ziehen.
Ich bin eine sehr zuverlässige und gut gelaunte Person, die manchmal etwas chaotisch aber dennoch sehr professionell ist.
