Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamed of becoming a famous model, my passion is modeling and photography but according to everyone models have to be very skinny. My concern was that I would never be a size zero so therefor I would never become a model, until I discovered that every model doesn't have to be a size zero. Reason why is because there is a term called Plus Size Model, according to Wikipedia it means someone who is engaged primarily in modeling plus-size clothing. Plus-size models also engaged in work that is not strictly related to selling large-sized clothing, e.g., stock photography and advertising photography for cosmetics, household and pharmaceutical products and sunglasses, footwear and watches. Therefore plus-size models do not exclusively wear garments marketed as plus-size clothing. This is especially true when participating in fashion editorials for mainstream fashion magazines. The requirements for female plus-size models are no different from those of other models, except for larger and differently proportioned bust-waist-hip measurements; the minimum acceptable height is generally no shorter than 5'9"/175.3 and they must have clear skin, good bone structure and a well-proportioned body. Well this is where my story begins, this is where I come in. Since, there aren't that many Plus Size Models compared to skinny models out there, I would like to become one of them and prove to them that you don't have to starve yourself just to be on the front cover of Vogue or Cosmopolitan. Models can be skinny or fat, different shapes and colors it actually takes more than just a pretty face and a beautiful body. I also think that modeling is an expressive art form and tells a certain story without words. For instance in a still picture you can show movement, you can show your desire, passion and commitment. I believe that having that ability to express your feelings on a picture is very incredible.
