Well, hello there.

Who doesn't like to tell a story? I like to share what I observe, what I interpret, and what I feel. However, I'm not a great orator, and I like being creative, so what better way to tell my story than with photography?

For the past few years, photography has been a great therapy for me. First, I picked myself up and started gaining some much needed self-esteem with self-portraits. From there I moved along to flowers, leaves and the beauty of nature. Then I got the idea that it would be way more interesting to capture the expressions and stories of others...with the help of a decent camera and an open mind, and an open eye, I'm continuing to build my confidence through portraiture.

Not sure how to classify my photographic style. I like real people. I like to capture what's going on behind a model's eyes. We are complicated and simple. Timid and brave. Sad, angry, happy, joyful, complacent, beautiful, wounded...I strive to capture feeling in my shots. The story. Simple enough, right?

I'm very open to all forms of expression. As long as you're comfortable, I'm comfortable. My work so far has been very simple, using natural light, with little post-processing. It just feels real and right to me.
