Several years ago, Erin Rose Design expanded not only to include theatrical sewing and costume design but also to feature makeup design, handbags, and other accessories.

Ours is a full service business which handles clothing needs whether it be for: the individual performer; the private collector; the historian; a theatrical production; a formal or bridal event; for fashion; or just because.

We welcome the performance artist. Some of our clients are actors, vaudevillians, dancers, clowns, burlesque performers, fire eaters, jugglers, movement theater performers, stilt walkers, magicians and acrobats. We design, drape, draft, and construct costumes for theatrical, dance and operatic productions.

Erin Gallagher has been costuming for over fifteen years and has been working in the theater in a professional capacity for eighteen years. She is currently the Resident Costume Designer for Moving Dock Theatre Company.

She has had the pleasure of stitching with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Company and Court Theatre.

She plans to launch her line of handbags in the fall.
