I used to be a sponsored/am/pro skater back in San Diego. I did contests, demo, and VIP stuff such as ASR convention many years back. I remember that when I modeled for the companies that I represented them everywhere I went, and I understand that I made them proud and that's what I'm trying to do once again but now on my own without their help. I have no problem following the given procedures to get the job done.I modeled for skate shops and other skate related companies. I wore their clothing, went to the events I was told to go to, and used the equipment they gave me. I represented them everywhere I went. I still skate but I am out of the loop as far as contests go, so I figured I would model for things other than skateboarding and just go solo and see if I like it or not. Given the opportunity I would not let those people down. I did one commercial in mission beach CA for my sponsor that was referring to people in wheelchairs can have fun just as people on skateboards.
