I have been doing makeup for over 10 years. As a licensed cosmetologist, I started in the makeup industry in a salon and spa doing mostly special occasion makeup like weddings and proms. I also participated in fashion photo shoots and in Omaha Fashion Week.

I started worked as a regional educator for Mirabella makeup based in Los Angeles CA for 5 years. I taught many classes and workshops including bridal makeup, photography and makeup and trend classes. In February 2011 I traveled to Los Angeles to film Mirabella's YouTube video tutorial for their new blush collection. I also represented Mirabella in New York City in December 2012 for the Cosmetic Executive Women's Conference.

In February 2011 I opened a salon called Simply Pure Salon and Spa. Our salon/spa can accommodate up to 8 employees and we offer everything from hair and makeup services to waxing, facials and massage. Having a salon to manage and working on my own clients keeps me very busy but when I can get creative with an on-site makeup job I always try my best to do so. Makeup artistry is my passion and I am always interested in moving forward and working towards a full time career in makeup artistry.
