gurelk is a graduate of Gazi University City and Regional Planning department and has been continuing his education with Urban Design in Middle East Technical University. He took up photography in 2000 and since then he has been adding his urban design and architectural background to his experiments on framing of architecture and landscape. He has participated in many group exhibitions and his work has been published online and in printed publication. Nowadays, gurelk has been serving as an instructor of photography within AFSAD and he has been working as a freelance photographer and chief photographer for Creative Initiative.
