Art and beauty are the highest expression of the divinity of humankind. I believe this fully. I exist to love. My wife and family fulfill my purpose for being. I feel the most alive when creating art, weather it be photography, music, writing, cooking, or living.

I mean this in the kindest way possible. I understand that time is money. I understand that modeling is an art form and that it incurs expenses. However it gets rather insulting that many models dont get that the time is money concept also applies to photographers. There is subltety to great portrait and glamour photography. Any schmuck can spend a ton of $$$ on super high end equipment and pull off being a real photographer to the untrained unrefined eye. True model photography is a fine art and takes a balance of creative vision and technical ability. If I were to drop any TFP from my work I would be charging anywhere from $350-$1000 for a single day shoot. My work does not stop after the shoot and many times post work takes nearly a full time week of 40 hrs before the pics are at finish. I consider myself a creative entity and do not work for a big company. If any model wants exceptional photos that don't look and feel like everyone elses and express more than just a nice shot, that is what I look to do with all my work. I also need to make a living. Unless it is a corporation, many photographers who pay models out of pocket just happen to have a bankroll. Chances are you will get better pics if you do shoots based on the quality of the pictures a photographer can produce and not based on who can pay and who can't. So I politely say to all models who absolutly refuse to consider any TFP whatsoever, when you are tired of dudes who can afford to pay and do so just to get your clothes off and would like to involve in a project where creativity and art are the priority... my rates are as above. As to those models who are into this for the art and understand it takes some give and take... I will gladly do TFP work with the right models. I am not a stepping stone photographer, I am a status symbol. Having my work in your portfolio is a priveledge and I want to be treated as such. In return I view working with truly talented models as a priveledge and will treat such individuals like the treasure that they are.
