Hey everyone...

Here's a lil background on me:
I am very art centric, whether it is sketching, painting or photography. Though photography is not my career, I am very passionate about it... started off shooting landscapes & scenery but found interest in people a couple years ago. I've got quite a few shoots under my belt now but have only had the opportunity to shoot a couple of my ideas thus far and I'm looking to change that. I enjoy using my imagination to create my own concepts whether its a graffiti shoot or a twisted motorcycle concept. I'm not really into fashion shoots but I don't mind them, as practice makes perfect, and if anything they help me work on my fundamentals. I have a lot of ideas and am just looking for the right people (models, make-up artists, hair stylists, body painters, etc) to experiment with and have a little fun while we work on projects. I'm looking for all levels of experience from newcomer to veteran. Hopefully I can find you guys on here... and if I'm lucky maybe a few of you will find me. I believe I have a lot of great ideas but am ALWAYS open to any concepts you'd like done, or adjustments to concepts we may discuss.



FAQ:
Compensation - Help me help you. I am mainly looking at Trade for Proofs/Pix (TFP), but payment is not completely out of the question. As mentioned before, I don't make a living off photography which makes it a little harder for me to pay for models' time, but I understand sometimes it's necessary to get the shoot I want.
example-- If I request you for a nude/implied nude shoot or even if it's just something that you feel is too far out of your genres, we can discuss payment. However, I do not believe in paying for a model and giving him/her full-sized digital proofs, but again, I'm willing to discuss terms on an case by case basis.

TFP - includes an agreed upon # of prints. This depends on how many different looks/outfits per shoot. I do not provide the full session of photos as I take pride in my work. I take the time to go through the session, select the cream of the crop, and touch up where necessary before the model receives them. The model should typically expect to receive the full-sized digital proofs/prints of these unless otherwise agreed upon.



Escort - I have no problem with an escort as long as they understand they are not to interfere with the agreed upon shoots. Please try to inform them what you deem acceptable and unacceptable to minimize any possible interruptions. I always try to have a female assistant (or make-up artist) to take care of any interaction with female models (such as adjusting hair, clothing, helping reposition, etc) so I can remain hands off, and more importantly... focused.



Travel- I don't mind traveling as far as LA for a good location or Model. I am pretty much willing to drive as far as needed for a good shoot ...within reason of course. I have a truck big enough to cart around most props or any other gear and I often hike and explore the desert on the weekends. Would love to get some brave souls out in the desert heat!!



Release Form - Yes. For newer models not familiar with release forms, I require all models to sign a release form at the beginning of each shoot based on terms agreed upon such as compensation (TFP or otherwise), gives me permission to shoot you and states I will not publicly release any of your personal info (email, phone number, etc). This is used to cover everyone's ass, not just mine and I always ensure a copy is sent to the email provided as soon as it's signed. If you have concerns, I can forward you a copy of the form days prior to the shoot for you look over... don't be afraid to ask about anything that is unclear. I like everyone to be on the same page before I pull my camera out the bag.
