I am a MILLINER -- a COUTURE HAT MAKER -- and I love it! I enjoy collaborating with photographers, stylists, MUAs, runway organizers, and designers to provide hats for photo shoots and runway shows in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I would especially love to work on more bridal projects; most of my bridal designs walk out the door without ever being professionally photographed, and most brides don't remember to send me photos from their weddings.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting, sculpture, and ceramics and have been making hats (millinery) since 2008. Hats are wearable sculpture and everything I make is couture - designed and hand-stitched by myself.

My style range is broad - I love history so I do a lot of retro-style headwear, but I also love very contemporary, chic fashion as well. I create headwear for women and men, including everyday fashion hats (not ball caps or bucket hats), special occasion, bridal, and custom pieces. I also re-design vintage headwear to make new and special creations, working with clients to create something memorable and unique.

My specialties are cocktail hats, special occasion headwear, and bridal pieces because they are more sculptural and more daring, but I am happy creating all kinds of headwear and love it when designers and clients step out of the ordinary and select daring headwear instead of something safe.

I try to use as many eco-friendly materials as possible in each piece, and I enjoy the challenge of repurposing fabric and decorative elements into fresh, new works of millinery art.
