Hi everyone, my name is Melissa and I am a freelance makeup artist (certified/trained). I've been doing makeup since 2000, which began as a side job while in college. Although I have been employed primarily in my field of study since graduating in 2009 (Counseling Psychology), doing makeup has remained a passion of mine. I have worked part-time in a number of settings to enhance my skill set, such as: M.A.C...including department store and M.A.C. PRO store (Bethesda/Chevy Chase, Maryland); makeup artist for H2O Salon & Spa (New Orleans, LA); and makeup artist at Make Me Up (makeup artistry boutique in New Orleans, LA).

I am looking for employment opportunities, in addition to collaborating with models/photographers to expand my portfolio. I am very experienced with bridal/special event makeup application, as well as makeup for photography. I would love to do more print work and makeup for the film industry.
