As a designer, Andy Sim follows the cardinal rule "less is more", making his style timeless and classic. Andy believes that fashion is fleeting but style is forever. He sticks with simple silhouettes but adds whimsy to his designs with the use of color and by mixing prints. Andy likes keeping clean cuts all throughout his garments—nothing ever too crazy. With the perception that a garment should be simple yet sophisticated, Andy adheres to his personal belief that what is beautiful now should still be beautiful years later, suggesting that a garment should be able to be passed on from one generation to another.
