I was Born and raised in Sicily, Italy, I acquired and mastered my design skills in and throughout Europe. In the early 1970's, striving to further explore cutting-edge design and enter into the most progressive hair design environment, I moved to the United States, where my advanced skills and attention to fine detail were immediately recognized. My name then became established among the best and most innovative New York hair designers.

The opening of my first salon in New York reflected my dedication and highly skilled design techniques captured the hearts and imagination of the sophisticated New York City crowd. Following the success of my New York salon, I expanded into five new markets in the New York region, including Brooklyn and West Port, Connecticut. Continuing to strive to expand my creative horizons, I set my sight upon the West Coast where I built another successful salon in Los Angeles, California.

In 1997, I received the prestigious award of Master Cosmetologist from the LOS ANGELES PROFESSIONAL COSMETOLOGY GROUP.

Continuing to establish prestigious and successful salons across America has allowed me to advance my hair design professionalism to higher standards.
The challenging, creative spirit took me around the world to discover the most innovative and progressive hair design. I successfully participated in world-class design competitions and established salons across the U.S. While working with world-famous hair designers in film, theater, and magazine photo shoots, I also began development of my hair care product line, PA PROFESSIONAL HAIR CARE SYSTEM, a collection of cut and Colors care finish products that purely and completely support the PA PROFESSIONAL HAIR CARE SYSTEM (Philip Amodei Professional) philosophy.
