I enjoy capturing the soul and then playing with light to make the soul look different. On camera flash doesn't do it for me and neither does excessive editing. Make-up artists are there for a reason and need to earn a living as well.

I've joined model mayhem to showcase my work, but more so to learn from other more experienced photographers. The varied uses of light is of keen interest to me, because each location and circumstance can be lit many ways. I guess I measure how good a photographer is by his use of available light or off camera lighting. Call me a strobist if you must.
