Hendrickson is conceptual photographer that infuses existential philosophy and experiential knowledge into his his work. A meticulous and reflective attention to human communication both verbally and non-verbally and the interplay of what social infrastructures afford shape and inspire Hendrickson's work.

Hendrickson views his work as a process that does not necessary end with a finished product but as infinite form of expression that can be seen in the work with his subjects, their stories, and the impressions that are created through the shared experience and the presentation of the work.
