MY BACKGROUND:

Son of an American father and Italian mother.

Spent the first 23 years of my life in Korea, Germany, Italy and the U.S.

2001 brought many new changes for me, not only the birth of my beautiful daughter, but also the decision to move to NYC to pursue acting, writing and every other form of “The Arts” I could get my hands on. Along with a hunger for “all things artistic” came the desire to make photography a major part of my life. Although it had always been a hobby of mine, it became my profession in 2006.

I lived in NYC until December of 2015, when I decided to move to Europe to “get a different perspective” on things. I’m currently based in Italy full-time…interrupted only by flights to NYC or trips abroad to shoot for clients. Like many other photographers, I have a second job, teaching (photography and English), which is my “bread” during the day. Photography and documentary/short film-making continue to be my “butter”.

MY PHOTOGRAPHY:

I have been a Freelance photographer since 2006, and in that time I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph 100's of clients: including models, celebrities, executives and everyday people doing what they do. Becoming a photographer really opened up a new point of view of the world for me, which in turn allows me to share that view with the people, friends and family in my life. Believe me when I tell you…one does not come across a career everyday that brings the joy and satisfaction that photography does.

MY STYLE:

I’m a very liberal shooter. I like to insert a large part of my personality directly into my shooting style. Once I'm fun, relaxed, and comfortable, this makes those I'm shooting act natural around me…which I believe in turn produces the best shots possible.

WHEN I'M NOT SHOOTING FASHION:

I love shooting cities, the country, the ocean, traffic, mountains, concrete jungles. Just point me in a direction and let me go, especially if it’s in an area or city that I’ve never seen before. No posing, no one-on-one, no ‘stick your chin out’…just me, my Canon, and no critics.
