About Me

Kile Casey has had a passion for photography for over 20 years. In 2010, she was fortunate enough to be able to leave a 20-year career in the world of finance to chase her dreams. She enrolled in the Art Institute of Washington-Northern Virginia to become a professional photographer by earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photographic Imaging. While interests are ever changing for Kile, her ongoing photographic passion has been for landscapes.

She has a great enthusiasm for being able to not only document life as it is today for future generation, but to be able to show today’s life in unique and interesting ways.

Kile had her piece “Details of the Brush” exhibited in the Town Hall of Leesburg, VA as part of the “Art Institute of Washington-Northern Virginia Student and Faculty Exhibit” from December 2010 through February 2011. She had two pieces chosen to be exhibited at ArtSpace in Herndon, VA. in May 2011. Those works, “Elvis” & “WO&D Trail Bridge” were chosen as finalist pieces for the “At Home in Herndon” Calendar Contest.

Through Model Mayhem she hopes to find models and opportunities to expand her photographic knowledge and experience as she continues through school. She wants to find be able to continue exploring different genres of photography.
