I first got into photography as a teenager after not being able to afford a movie camera and decided still photography was the best way to learn composition and lighting while saving up. I fell in love with taking photos, monochrome especially, and burned through many a roll of film. Even though I eventually was able to start making small independent films like I always wanted I find myself returning to still photography in the down time. I find that I prefer photographing more realistic subjects and places over the flashy and abstract. I also have experience with weddings and family events.
