When I'm shooting people, I obviously want the image to work perfectly for the model, but also want the photograph itself to be striking or thought provoking and stand up on its own as more that just a portrait.

That's why, even in my regular commercial photography, I try not to use tired, safe and over-used high-street formulas but to experiment with different ideas and styles and come up with something that works specifically with the client I am working with.

I try to make the images either quirky, dark, sensual, beautiful, disturbing, thought provoking, immature (I haven't grown up yet), or possible several of those at the same time! Most importantly though the sessions are always meant to be fun.

Shoots are either studio based or on location. The studio is welcoming and very well equipped with not only high-end photographic equipment, but also a great real coffee machine, or if you prefer something colder, a coke/beer/wine chiller. Shoots can be during work hours, evenings or weekends to suit.

Mostly paid only, however if someone of something really interests me or I find it/you exceptionally cool or inspire me then TF is a possibility.

Creating beautiful images is a partnership, so the biggest credit goes to the models I've worked with. After that its all down to the Make Up Artist, Nikon, Apple, Adobe, Wine Producers of Europe and my dog Gromit.
