About Me

Originally from Colombia, Diego’s dream was always to become a Model and Dancer. At an early age he had the opportunity to experience dance as well as Modeling and discovered the passion for this expression of the human body. His primary goal was to share this gift with everyone.
He started working as a dance instructor in Florida. He studied, taught and competed in Pro-Am and professional events, winning numerous competitions. After spending 10 years in Florida, another wish was granted. Diego had the opportunity to relocate to the “Big Apple” becoming the studio manager for The New Yorker Social Dance Club and Working in different Modeling gigs.

Internationally recognized with the “Manager of the Year Award” at the Global Dance Alliance convention in 2012. He enjoys a hands-on approach as Founder and Director, ensuring that COUPLE IN MOTION is run effectively and professionally on a daily basis. Along with his highly trained staff, Diego's goal is quality instruction and service, but also to make dancing and his modeling experience fun, quick, and easy.
