Photographer with 20 years of experience shooting portraits and assisting models with portfolio development; however, I've been around cameras for as long as I can remember.

I do a lot of location work because I love the ambiance the outdoor scenery can provide much more than the backdrop of a studio. When I plan a shoot, I try to plan more based on a theme or themes than specific outfit styles; although, one usually influences the other. As such, much of how and what I shoot comes more from feeling and instinct than planning specific shots/poses.

Even though I do take the job very seriously, I try to make every shoot as fun as possible. I feel this helps both of us relax and feel comfortable with each other which seems to make the results better. I also believe the shoots to be a collaborative effort between the model and I; therefore, I encourage ideas/suggestions.

**Regarding Escorts:

Escorts are welcome as long as they understand they are present only to observe and not interfere with the shoot. Occasionally, I may request their assistance with some things; however, the escort must remain behind the camera and remember that I am in charge.
