I'm a former soldier looking for a more sedate lifestyle. I've had the good fortune to be able to take up photography as a part-time hobby, and am debating how much of my time I can afford to spend on it. I prefer to take pictures in the field when something just seems like it 'works' for me, but I'm getting better at a more structured shoot format. Most of my images are of friends and coworkers, but as a result of my past I've also developed a certain fascination with with interesting scars and bruises, as well as time-lapse series of the healing process.
