Peter Ong developed a passion for photography during his course of study at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and Raffles Design, from which he holds a Masters Degree in Graphic Design.
Peter has garnered over 200 awards in both local and international photography competitions, some of which include NDP Snap Our City 2007 (1st prize), Singapore Grand Prix 2009 (1st Prize), Marina Bay Countdown 2014 (1st prize) as well as a Special Mention for the highly regarded National Geographic Yellow To Me Competition. He was also one of the award recipients of the prestigious President’s Challenge Photography Competition 2008. His award winning works are featured in numerous publications such as The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao and Asian Photography. Peter feels that perfecting the art of seeing is of utmost importance, and being able to capture unrepeatable moments give him a sense of satisfaction.
