About Me

Besides being a photographer and artist, I am also a writer and film/video maker. I'm very much into people and the spirit/miracle of the human soul. I studied photography in Japan, film in New York and made documentaries in Harlem. I am passionate about music, especially jazz and it is reflected in my work. I am currently shooting performing artists in and around NYC, but expanding into doing more studio work in the Chelsea area of NYC, at 104, West 14th Street, the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory. I am looking for more models, stylists and makeup artists to work with - in a really creative atmosphere on the westside of Manhattan in, or out of the studio on location.

Credit Notes

I started my photographic journey and love for images in Japan - photographed the jazz scene in Tokyo for 3 years.
Began and continue to shoot high end still photography and fusion (photo-video) wedding photography and event photography, including sports.
Loft Arts Productions, Brooklyn, New York, uses my photos exclusively.
I have shot, and still shoot musical performers, mainly jazz artists who have performed in and out of the NYC metro area...many have been published.
Besides shooting out of a studio on Long Island, NY, I shoot mostly out of a studio on the Lower Westside of Manhattan, NYC, in Chelsea, at the Theaterlab.

How I work TF*:

My final product is a piece of art. After the shoot is finished, I spend MANY MORE hours in front of the computer editing and post processing images. I do not provide any unedited images, most times I will provide 1-3 finished images per look. This is especially true for highly stylized images that require a lot of photoshop work.
