Hello everyone, I am Jackie. I have been working as a Freelance Makeup Artist for about 11 years. My personal company name is TRU Beauty By Jackie which I started about 2 years ago when I wanted to make the transition into full time freelancing. My mother was a Makeup Artist so I started taking classes with her and learning from her at about age 7. I grew up obsessing over Makeup Artistry soaking in any information I could and really following Kevyn Aucoins career. While studying business and human communications in college I started taking the Makeup classes there. I took all the Makeup classes provided at the community college and started working as the Theatre Makeup artist. I did that for about 3 years while I was attending college. Ever since I have networked as much as possible, advertised and handed out business cards everywhere to get as many jobs as possible for any experience. I have done Makeup for weddings, parties, special events, Models portfolios and extremely artistic Makeup. I have worked on all ethnicities and I really love to do extremely artistic work which is what I would like for my portfolio besides any Beauty/Editorial work. I am a PRO MAC member which is my preference in Makeup although I use some products from other high end cosmetic companies. I can also do basic hairstyling although I prefer to focus on the face. I am currently working very hard to build a great portfolio so I am willing to take any job, any TFP/TFCD work. Any collaborations with Photographers, Models and hairstylists would be awesome. I had many great photos from the start of my career all the way to now but most of my work was lost when my laptop crashed so now I have to begin to rebuild, a reason why I am here :) Please message me about any TFP/TFCD work.
