Hi! I am a model and portrait photographer in the Metropolitan Detroit area. I tend to shoot glamour, some fashion work, implied nudes and artistic nudes.

A little on my background - I'm an engineer by degree and I've struggled for many years to gain some independence and free time for photography, always seeming to hit that roadblock of "a regular day job" getting in the way.

Then one day, a photographer friend of mine pointed out that I was fortunate in having such a great day job, because it allowed me to shoot only what I really wanted. I wasn't living the starving artist life like he was, taking jobs to make ends meet.

It was a sea-change in my thinking.

I stopped all the ways of trying to make money with photography that I didn't enjoy (high school Seniors, weddings, babies, etc). Now I only shoot what makes me happy & I most often work with professional, paid models to save time and energy to allow for greater focus on getting beautiful images. It has really freed my creative and artistic side and I'm loving photography like never before!

If it's my concept and I've reached out to you, it's because I'm very serious and find something about you that I think will make great images - which means I'm usually offering it as a paid shoot for you. Cancellations:
Life happens and things can get crazy last minute. Please keep in mind that I spend a great deal of my free time planning the shoots, and often have deposits on studio time and/or specialized equipment.

Because of this, there is a Cancellation policy:
Cancellations 7 days prior- No charge
Cancellations 3-7 days prior- $50 flat fee
Cancellations within 48 hours of shoot - $250 flat fee (unless I've traveled for the job, then we'll have to talk about it)

Travel:
I will go anywhere in the world my passport will take me. Inquire about trades for accommodations, meals, airfare, etc. Please note, the warmer and more tropical the destination, the more flexible my rates become. :)
