​When most think of New York, there are two things that often come to mind. The beauty and grandeur of the skyscrapers that rise high into the sky that hovers above the city that never sleeps, or the loud mouth woman whose tongue dripped with attitude, accentuating her natural New York toughness, from the Flavor of Love television. But what if I was to say that New York had a sweet side, and her name is Roe  Merolla or more affectionately known by her nickname, Roe Roe.
​A flower watered and bloomed in Bronx, New York, this Italian beauty is not what most people would expect to come from a city with such a tough reputation, especially a part of the city with a vicious reputation like the Bronx. Yet here she stands like one of the skyscrapers that jut into the New York skies. And with her beauty and humility, she became another rarity. A model with a heart.
​Her career accomplishments are vast and gives testimony to her dedication to her craft as a model. As a promotional model and a go-go dancer, Roe is known throughout print, online, music videos, in-person events, and venue appearances. When you see Roe, there should be no doubt that the forefront is exactly where this beauty belongs. As a model and a professional, Roe also boasts a couple more titles that add to her repertoire. Professional hair stylist and certified MAC makeup artist, which also keeps her ahead of the trend as a model. It was more than likely this level of professionalism that led to her seven-page spread in the March issue of Shy Girl and her feature in Street Fame, a magazine based out of Florida. Her most recent accomplishment was a feature in Touch Magazine. Truly it is more than her beauty that brings about opportunities for such a poetic presence. She is an elegant Queen of Hearts and Jack of all Trades and modeling is not her only talent, but then again, that was probably understood if you read this far.
​Her talents as a go-go dancer also led her to other opportunities as well. With her dancing experience, she not only played a part in one music video, not just two music videos, but number of music videos, her most notable parts being the trippy and hype, “P’s & Q’s” by Christion Dior featuring Sims and J30’s thought-provoking and introspective, “Stop Talking ‘Bout Me. But Roe is more than a simple video vixen.
​With her close-knit family ties and strong moral values add to her even stronger work ethic, but even though Roe  is clearly a determined young woman, the sweet side of Roe is very much so hard to miss and even harder to pass up.
