I'm a self proclaimed amateur photographer.
I am currently doing a bachelor in Graphical Design and I will finish in 2012. After this I want to enter a major in photography so I can get learn more about this wonderful world.
I prefer portraits over any other kind of photography, simply because I find it much easier to find emotions in these kind of shots. I don't enjoy studio photography and I prefer when the model doesn't pose. Spontaneous shots are the best, I find, since I believe when a person is posing too much it looks fake. I sometimes do random shots, and I try different angles that what we usually see, or a different composition.
I do not own any crazy expensive material. I work with a Nikon D50, a 18-55mm lens and a 35mm lens. It's the best camera I have ever worked with.
I believe that I know the techniques for this job, the only thing missing is the experience, from the fault of not having enough time to experience.
