About Me

My website: http://www.tayloryoelin.com

+ Who am I, and what's my goal?

In 2007 I graduated with a degree in professional photography, and since then I've been working on set for a variety of photographers on a variety of projects. I've been a freelance & full-time studio manager, producer, retoucher, set-assistant, and of course: photographer. I'm accustomed to working on commercial/advertising photo shoots, and that's how I will treat our project.

With my model mayhem account, I'm looking to build my people portfolio to a point that would compliment my existing studio photography (check out my website, it's all product). See all that sexy light on those products? I want to apply the same clean style & approach when building my people book. That's the pitch, that's my goal.

+ So, what are we going to shoot?

Just like the commercial world: every shoot is unique. That's one thing that I like about photography. One day I could be shooting jewelry, the next day I'm on a car set, and the day after I'm on location shooting people lifestyle.

I'm open to most anything, but it needs to be commercially viable. I prefer to shoot portrait/lifestyle imagery, as that's the most valuable. All of the work that I'm interested in pursuing right now on MM will be TFP.

+ What do I use the images for, am I easy to work with?

I'm very easy to work with. But I guess I'm biased in that department... I want the best shots possible, and we're going to get them. ALL of the photography we shoot will be for our portfolios and promotion. NONE of the images are being licensed for commercial use without both of us saying yes. It's that simple - we get the same rights to the same images.

I will not perform any photography without a signed model release, this is non-negotiable.

+ What's next?

Let's get it done. Message me with your interest, any ideas that you have that you've always wanted to shoot (or location), and we'll go from there. When we're both on the same page, I think it's a very good idea to meet in person to discuss details of the shoot. Although neither of us are getting paid to shoot, I treat it as a paying gig and I ask for the same respect in return. That's it!
