Andrew Colvin grew up in Southern California, where inspired by a household of women, he began his path from a young age. He started his professional career working in some of the top retailers on the West Coast, culminating with his position at Barneys Beverly Hills. His flourishing work and ability to build relationships with clients, coupled with his interest in skincare and innate ability to work with women and apply makeup, lead him to New York City, where he currently resides.
Since his tenure in New York, Andrew has worked for such prestigious brands as M.A.C., NARS, shu uemura and YSL Beauty. Andrew has worked on various projects from runway shows, to commercial enterprises in addition to conceptual editorials. He draws inspiration from the changing climate around him in New York and is consistently inspired by such visionaries as Serge Lutens , François Nars, Dick Page and Val Garland. Andrew is constantly experimenting with new techniques to break through to the next era in beauty.
