My name is Tomas Skaringa. My origins are from Europe and i been living in Los Angeles for last 8 years. So, yes you can tell than I'm local :).
I love photography and i enjoy shooting beautiful models and presenting creative work on the table.
As an editor i aim for natural looks and energy. I always contemplate before i start editing the image. I think the image has to be worth editing, because high end editing takes a lot of time and effort. My edits are very natural and not over edited. I don't simply blur the skin and i don't make the image to look flat and lack of details. I think that ability to keep details, natural look is a must have for a professional editor. Otherwise, the image will loose it quality and dimension, simply to say it becomes "trash".
So, as an editor i strive to keep the image detail quality on the top, while fixing skin imperfections, tones, hair and other unwanted things that should not be in the photo.

My Rates vary. Everything depends on the assignment. If the photo will be 100% published and i'm guaranteed tear sheets, i might work only for credits.

Basic retouching includes :
• White Balance Correction;
• Imperfection Removal;
• Teeth Whitening;
• Eye clean up and brightening;
• Skin smoothing.
