Jenna King was born and raised in Plantation, a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She graduated in the top 10% of her class from Westminster Academy, where she participated in the school's musicals and plays. She also played on the volleyball team, was a cheerleader, a National Honor Society officer and the president of the school's debate team, Junior Statesmen of America.

Outside of school, Jenna lived and breathed theatre and music. If she wasn't in rehearsals for a community theatre production, she was singing in her church choirs and on the worship team. As an accomplished pianist, Jenna competed in years of state competitions and has numerous first place trophies to her name.

The first audition of Jenna's freshman year at the University of Miami landed her the lead role of Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. The years that followed led to other lead roles, including a performance consisting of two one-act plays called The Way of All Fish and An Interview, in which she portrayed one of only two characters, allowing her and her costar to experience the pressure and the thrill of carrying an entire show. In her classes she has played everything from Catherine in Proof to Lady Macbeth.

In college Jenna began exploring film, the medium that particularly captures her attention today. Her first role, the lead in a student film entitled Overthink, opened up the doors to a whole new world of acting. Since this film, she has starred as Harper from Angels in America as well as her most recent role, the lead in a student film entitled The Problem with Mr. Withers. In Mr. Withers she plays Claire, the smart and sharp captain of her school's ethics team who has her perfect world thrown on it's head due to a tragedy in a friend's life.
