About Surbala

This emerging design label based in Sydney, Australia, specializes in bespoke resort-wear including caftans, tunics, dresses & accessories. Kaleidoscopic prints inspired by Australian aboriginal motifs coupled with inspirations from Warli wall paintings & traditional techniques like hand block printing, tie & dye, hand embroidery etc. form the base of Surbala’s eclectic look which becomes a must have for each fashionista’s wardrobe.

About the Designer

Neha Sharma, the designer behind “Surbala”, has deep passion for textiles and loves to experiment with colors. Her double stints at her alma mater, NIFT New Delhi, gave her the exposure and knowledge of fashion design (2002-06)& management (2007-09).
Her work for prestigious apparel brands both Indian and International, have been applauded and well received.
An Indian at heart, now calling Australia her home, she is inspired by new cultures and is proud to celebrate the un-parallel one she grew up with.
