Hi all! My name is Kyrsten, I'm 24, and I love the camera! Seriously. I feel most alive, free, and myself when I am in front of a camera. I won my first photo contest at age 5. And the love began! I did a few random shoots in high school. In 2007 I went to South Africa for a month. I fell sick two months upon returning and spent six months in and out of hospital. I eventually started losing my hair because of the treatment, so I shaved my head. It was in this darkest of times that I realized what truly defines beauty. I was able to look past the bald and see me. Of course, I realize I wasn't too astetically beautiful but I realized that being comfortable with myself is true beauty. Now I see modeling in a whole new light, although I have grown my hair back now. I still love the camera just because it is a camera, but more than that, I love modeling because it gives me the chance to show my inner beauty and creativity. And I am always told how my eyes smile all on their own :D
