Sophia Peon-Leyva is a color expert and self-proclaimed ‘chem-head’. She is currently a Chemistry Major possessing a strong passion for hair color and chemistry. Her second motivation is sharing her knowledge with fellow stylists. She has worked with other top color lines and trained by world renowned Columbian Hair Colorist and Chemist Alexandra Matiz who is currently the P&G Color Ambassador for the USA. Before joining Goldwell USA, Sophia was part of the artistic team for Wella and Sebastian gracing the stage at several high profile events nationwide. During this time Sophia has had the opportunity to work alongside many top guest artists in our industry.

Her ability to decode hair and look at it as a piece of fine art really defines her existence. Sophia has stated that working with Goldwell USA who, like Sophia, is dedicated to Hairstylists and color perfection is ‘a true match made in heaven’.
