About Me

I’ve been a paid stylist now for 8yrs and counting. I am now an artist through The Green Room Agency. My goal is to be Unionized and/or working for the shows of Las Vegas by April 2013. That is why I’m constantly looking for Test Shoot Models, Wardrobe Stylists and Photographers who really stand out.

So with that being said, If you are Model and Wardrobe Stylist and have little to no experience and are looking for paid shoots only, YOU ARE HINDERING YOURSELF!!

YOU HAVE TO TEST SHOOT. With out experience, knowledge, or skill you won't get very far and you make me go "REALLY?"

Models how do you expect to gain paid experience with little to none experience? Being a model isn't just about being a pretty girl or hot guy in front of a camera. If it was that easy I'd be a model.

Its a SKILL. Because no matter how the makeup, hair, and clothes are if you don't have the ability to present what you are presenting, no one will hire you. Your ability to pose, smile with your eyes, change your facial expression to fit the persona/theme of the set, all comes with prcatice. There are very few people who can do this naturally. Don't let your ego get the best of you and risk your career too find out if you're one of them.

Wardrobe Stylist this goes for you too. Test shoots are a great way to see what colors, fabrics, patterns, and even what a whole lot of everything looks on camera. Especially if you'r doing any kind of era styling. You want to make sure that what you have is versitile and looks good on camera. As well as being able to improvise if something doesn't work out.

Take it from someone who has seen people on numerous occassions OVER sell themselves to paid sets and when it came time to deliever crashed and burned. Trust me, you don't want to be that person. It really can destroy your career.

Photographers: Always work with serious up and coming artists. Even some pros who just want to broden their spectrum. I will work with any photographer who is serious and refer to only serious photographers. So please if you don't have something to show or you have shots that look like an 8yr old took them please go back to Craig's List. (No offense Craig's List)

Like I said before I am a FULL PAID MUA and HAIR STYLIST and take my career very seriously. I will never stop testing. Era styling and Makeup, wigs, hair pieces, and even new lines of makeup are always my reason for testing. That is what sets me apart and getting me constant paid bookings, because what I say I can do, I can prove. I never take on a job I can't handle or don't have the skill level for. Whether its paid or TFP, I'm not putting my name on something that could ruin me. But you can bet your sweet butt I'm gonna practice it until its ready for TFP. This career is my passion and love, I will never jepordize it and always improve my skill.

Now that I'm off my soap box, please know I have every credential to back up what I'm saying. I take my portfolio very seriously. I have a goal/dream and I'm dying to see it come true. Even though its "Free" time, these shoots will be treated asif they were paid. If you're getting portfolio worthy shots that help build your name, what do you have to lose by testing with me?

RESUME:

Since I've been with the agency I've worked with some of Atlanta's Top Celebrity Stylists as well as Celebrity Clients.
