I have been a keen photographer for many years, my main area of interest is photographing people, I have done a fair amount of studio type work and I have my own equipment (lights etc). Over the last few years I have been more involved with photographing families, pets and weddings and along with my wife we ran our own photographic shop and studio. We decided to give up the shop now and I would like to get back to my roots and start doing my photography as the hobby it started out as.
I hope that by joining model mayhem I will be able to resurrect my enjoyment again instead of having a business and at the same time to mutually help prospective models who are trying to break into the business and build a portfolio.
I am happy doing all types of model photography and would relish trying anything different, if you have any ideas you want to try or experiment with I will gladly give it a go, who knows we might just come up with that extra special shot that we all strive for.

I would just like to add, although this is my hobby I am serious about my photography, and I would also ask that for your peace of mind you bring a companion (sister, girlfriend etc) along to our meetings (certainly until you get to know and trust me) that way we are both able to relax with each other.
