Shortlisted for NME Photographer of the year 2010 London based Jenny hardcore has been primarily shooting bands across the UK since early 2005. Having started out with a 35mm Nikon her work progressed through the digital format and she now used a variety of classic camera’s, medium format and digital SLR.

Her work involves various styles and genre from commercial and promotional photography to personal art projects as well as continuing work with established and up-coming musicians.

She has worked with a range of artists including The Charlatans, Babyshambles, Shane MacGowan, Florence & The Machine, The Who and many more

Published work includes editorial contributions for Time Out, The Guardian Guide, Attitude magazine and Artrocker. Images and art-work have been used by The Charlatans, The Holloways, Frank Turner and more.

Exhibitions have been held in The Tom-Tom Gallery, Covent Garden and various north London venues, she is currently working towards her first non-music based exhibition which will feature images from personal projects.

In July of 2007 eleven of her photographs were published in the large format art book ‘Punk – a directory of modern sub-versive youth culture’. Images have been published in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Holland, Italy, Greece, Belgium and Russia.
