About Me

My name is Ashley Reade, I live in Hay River, Northwest Territories, Canada, and I have a passion for fashion. I have always dreamed of having a career in fashion but just never knew where to get started. I contacted a well known photographer in Yellowknife, Dave Brosha (of Dave Brosha Photography), and decided to get a small portfolio of myself. This portfolio was based on an article I viewed in a local magazine that had models from up north posing in swimsuits for climate change. I figured if they could do it then why couldn't I! This could be something I could look back on in the days to come and be proud of--this is how it started! I discussed my ideas with my photgrapher and we decided to go with a outdoor(swimsuit) and studio shoot. All the pictures he took were very well perceived from friends, family, and his viewers. So I decided to see if I could take it further.
