Reynier Llanes – Born Pinar del Rio, Cuba - August 15, 1985

Reynier Llanes was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba August 15, 1985. He attended the school of art (Instructores de arte) for four years and at the age of 19, he completed his studies in 2004. In Havana, Reynier was tutored by one of the country’s most recognized realist artists, Juan Miguel Suarez

In the United States, LIanes was named one of the "New Superstars of Southern Art" - OXFORD AMERICA, and recognized by the Mayor of Charleston with a "purchase award" for the art collection of the city of Charleston. His art is on permanent exhibition in the Museum collection of Franklin G. Burroughs - Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum – Myrtle Beach, SC and has been exhibited in numerous Museums and galleries throughout the east coast that includes the Naples Museum of Art, Naples, FL.

The quality of his paintings resulted in his participating in important exhibitions where he gained numerous prizes, nominations and fame which took his paintings as far as South America and Asia.

It was in 2007 where LIanes availed himself of an opportunity to emigrate from Cuba and moved to the United States. LIanes currently resides and works in Miami, Florida where he is also an art consultant for the renowned artist Jonathan Green at Green’s studio in Daniel Island, SC. In addition to painting, Llanes is an art manager and representative of fine art created by professional artists who continue to live and work in Cuba.
