I see photography as a performance. All my life, I've been a performing artist. Growing up, it was the piano. Later on, the saxophone. Now I'm in college, choir and photography take up my time. I see light and compositions in the same way I hear chords and the melodies attached to those chords. Just as a composer leaves his mark with his music, I want to leave my mark with my photography.

My name is Ian. I've been shooting for over a year now and my main interest is Strobist style lighting. My main goals in joining this sight is to better my flash photography and take it to a new level. I'm constantly exploring new looks and techniques for my photos.
