My work speaks for it's self...
Okay, so I'm a photographer that's stuck somewhere between amateur and professional, and working hard skew that to the professional side. I've been into photography since I was a teenager. I always enjoyed capturing images, and it's been a creative outlet for me since I stole my older brothers SLR he forgot in the basement of my mothers house when he moved out. As time went by I accumulated gear, honed my craft, and impressed some people. The natural progression was weddings, since that seems to be where everyone ends up. Here's the hitch, taking pictures of other people getting married sucks. Although I worked hard to make sure I got quality captures of my clients on their special days, I also realized that it wasn't for me. I pondered giving up photography all together, and then realized that I've never let anything beat me, and I'll be damned if some bridezillas are going to stop me from doing what I love. I'm going to pursue photography, but it's going to be on my terms. I enjoy taking pictures of things that I find visually appealing. That's a short list that includes the following... -Architecture and urban decay -Aircraft -Cars -Sexy women (Note: I'm also flexible and enjoy mixing and matching) The sexy women entry is what brings me to Model Mayhem. Call me stubborn, visionary, creative, whatever it may be, but don't mistake the fact that I have a unique style when it comes to photography, and my images reflect that. It's my opinion that great images are a combination of lots of factors, including the people on both sides of the camera. I'll always listen to idea's, and I'll try anything once, but the images I capture and process have my unique style to them and I'm not going to apologize for it. You can get a sense of it from the images I post, and if you don't like it then I would rather not work with you. At this point I'm interested in finding opportunities to shoot for proofs. My portfolio exists, but is scattered, varied, and quite frankly unprofessional. My goal is to resolve that issue by whoring myself out for a while, and to see what happens from there.
