About Me

-----------------------------------------------------------
DISCLAIMER:

Are you trying to take some unique and gorgeous full or partial nudes showing off your body in all of it's natural glory? Do you feel like my style may be exactly what you need to take your full or partially nude portion of your portfolio to the next level? If so, I am sorry to disappoint.

While I have a high respect for models and photographers who do this kind of photography, it's just not me. Additionally, I would like to encourage model's interested in this type of photography to thoroughly check out the photographers they work with to ensure they are working with PROFESSIONALS. Also, know your limits, draw your line and never let any photographer,, no matter how prestigious cross it.

If this message applied to you in any way, I wish you the best of luck in finding a photographer to work with. Thank you for your interest!
-----------------------------------------------------------

Ever since I was young I have had a knack for photography. As I grew older I took a high school course in black and white photography; and then lost interest for several years. After completing my Bachelors Degree in Visual Communication with a minor in Digital Design, my passion for photography was reignited; except this time I had the drive to take my skills to the next level and the technical and creative know-how to do some pretty sweet stuff.

It has been about two years now since my passion was reborn and I have now obtained enough portable equipment to start a small studio, and I know how to use it all very well. So far, the only training I have in photography has been from other photographers and websites such as fridayphotoschool.com, strobist.com, kelbytraining.com, creativeedge.com and photoshopuser.com. I also have to give a great deal of credit to my Amazon.com credit card for all the great books it provided to me and the raw and fast paced experience gained from a short stint at Life Touch Studios. I have always understood the importance of the core fundamental and principles of creative arts and have now also enrolled in the New York Institute of Photography’s Professional Photographers Program to fine tune my skills and gain some respectable credentials.

I am joining Model Mayhem to seek out models who would like to work with me to build my experience and portfolio in return for free retouched digital images. I am also joining in order to involve myself in a community of like-minded creative photographers to exchange knowledge, experiences and constructive criticism.

With any luck, my hope is to go from being an intermediate photographer (which I currently view myself as being) to a respected and renowned (at least around town) photographer. I look forward to one day being a photographer that people will be proud to have to have worked with to obtain unique images which will become the pride of their portfolio.
