I am a fashion designer working on my first collection of high-end contemporary lingerie and womenswear. My work combines period handcraft dressmaking techniques with contemporary clothing production methods to create a luxury hand-finished product. The look is strong, classic and fashion forward.

I am now working on the full collection for Spring/Summer 2012. Since graduating in 2006 I have completed a tailoring apprenticeship on Savile Row whilst also working freelance for a film production company where I worked both as a handcraft tailor and corset-maker for period films such as Bright Star, The Young Victoria and Belle Ami.

I am now working full-time on my own fashion label under my name, Katharine Harrison. The current collection is a Pre-collection for Spring/Summer 2012 to be launched in September this year.

I am looking for strong classic faces, photographers, stylists and hair and make-up artists to shoot the new collection in September. I am planning a static photoshoot as well as a short film.

I am looking for models of a fashion size 10 at the moment, though I'd like to work with various sizes for future bespoke corset collections. No pin-ups though, the collection is high fashion, not glamour.

Mostly I want to find great people to work with and have a fun day of collaborating to produce artwork to benefit all involved.
