BIO:

Kate Bennett's passion for make up goes hand in hand with her passion for dance. Growing up performing in countless dance recitals, experimenting with make up came as a second nature. Originally from the east coast, Kate made her way west for college and received her BA in Dance from Loyola Marymount University. It wasn't until after college and a chance meeting on a plane with celebrity make up artist and beauty guru James Vincent that Kate started to take her make up skills more seriously. Blessed to have the chance to expand her training and knowledge in the field of make up with the help of wonderful mentors and education programs through The Powder Group she got the push to actively pursue a career in make up. Whether she is doing bridal, runway, editorial, stage or beauty make up she makes it of the utmost importance that the client is pleased and that she can awaken an emotion from her audience. A creative person by nature Kate loves to draw from her experience as a dancer and sees her applications as choreography for the face.
