My art is based in the shadows of reality. I find my muses in the curves and natural form of the body. I am interested in bringing out the beauty of stillness by capturing moments of thought and serenity in my models. I use photo shoots to keep my models from having to sit for the long periods of time it sometimes takes to finish a picture. My medium is charcoal on paper then affixed to wood, with wood stain to bring out the natural wood grain through the paper.
