Russell has directed the short films "Union Station," "Trash Day," and the original stage play "Waiting for Jamie," and just completed his first feature film, the romantic comedy "Barmy." Directing film is a natural extension from photography for Russell. Instead of shooting one photo at a time, he sees directing film as simply taking twenty four photographs per second. Russell often uses models in his films.
