A photograph is the irrefutable result of a brief cooperation. A photograph to me is an alibi to look people in the eye, a bit longer and deeper than usually permitted by our social standards.
To me a photograph documents the achievements of my time and my culture. It makes my world of freedom visible, the value of the agreements between me and the people around me.
A photograph is my short personal history; demonstrated on paper that the dynamics of insights quickly manifest themselves; the current value of a photograph is as fleeting as thoughts.
A photograph is an ingenious end product of pondering and struggling, once in a while a distillate which causes intense swallowing and watery eyes. And at the same time a compressed message with such a weight that a young pigeon, just feathered, could easily convey it as an initiation.
